DESCRIPTION

BayPort has a new location in Norfolk’s Ghent area! The building underwent a complete interior and exterior renovation, along with a reconfiguration of the parking lot.

INTERIOR RENOVATIONS
The interior features newly constructed spaces, including:

• Two multi-stall ADA restrooms
• An employee breakroom
• Five lobby offices
• Ten back-office spaces

Additional upgrades include all-new ductwork, supply, and returns. The lobby boasts a grand, open feel with 11-foot ceilings, new ceramic tile flooring throughout the lobby and restrooms, custom cabinetry, and other upgraded finishes.

The original safety deposit vault, a testament to decades of craftsmanship, has been beautifully restored for showcase purposes but will not be used.

EXTERIOR UPGRADES
Numerous enhancements were made to the building’s exterior, including:

• Larger faux windows for improved architectural appeal
• Raising the canopy drive-thru for increased clearance
• Replacing the original teller window with an automated Interactive Teller Machine (ITM)
• Adding another ITM in the drive-thru and a walk-up ITM on the Granby Street side

PARKING LOT RECONFIGURATION
The parking lot was redesigned for improved access and traffic flow. Upgrades include:

• New ADA ramps and sidewalks where needed
• Milling and paving of the entire lot
• New landscaping and irrigation installed throughout the property
